Or, if you’re looking for something more thrilling, then why not ride back into the valley on a trottibike (Niederhorn & First), toboggan (Heimwehfluh & Pfingstegg) or Mountaincart (First). There are also many different and attractive multi-day offers available (Regional Pass, Jungfrau Travelpass, etc.).

Harder Kulm

If you would like to see beautiful mountain views but don’t have much time, then a visit to Interlaken’s house mountain, the Harder Kulm, is just the thing. The red funicular will take you up to the summit in only 8 minutes. Make sure to walk out onto the Two Lakes Bridge observation deck, from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, the "Bödeli", and the Bernese Alps.

Niesen

The mighty pyramid of the Niesen mountain thrones over Lake Thun like a picture postcard. It’s a sight that you can’t miss during your stay at the Hotel Restaurant neuhaus zum see. A funicular will take you to the summit, from where there are spectacular view over Lake Thun and the Bernese Mittelland. Alternatively, you could register for the annual "longest stair climb in the world" race and climb the 11764 steps to the top on foot.
